Jack Robinson
Jack has been dancing for 11 years, training in various styles Ballet, Ballroom, Latin, Jazz, Tap, but specialising in Street and Break Dance. From a young age he learnt the background and foundations of Street and Break. Before moving on to pursue a career as a dance teacher, Jack travelled to California where he taught Dance fro 3 months and went on to train at the famous Debbie Reynolds and Millennium dance Centres. He continues to train with various well known choreographers whenever he gets chance, travelling around the UK to further his knowledge. Jack’s most recent work involves Choreography for the 2013 & 2014 Udance Festival, Performing in BBC royal Society’s VT Trailer & ‘A moment when…’ performance for the Cultural Olympiad. Jack believes in teaching where the styles come from, starting at the foundations & progressing through to where your own individuality can shine. His enthusiasm for the style and for passing knowledge on is huge and he hopes to grow and create dancers in every class.
Billie-Jean Parkes
Owner and Founder of Viadance. Billie-Jean has Competed in many Street Dance (UDO) and Line Dance Competitions (UDWDC) across the globe from a young age. Trained at Studio1 in Street Dance and Line Dance. Experience in Street Dance, Contemporary, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Salsa, Waltz, Polka, West Coast Swing. Completed a degree in Contemporary Dance and Community Arts in 2009. Since then, have become qualified as UDO Street Dance Teacher and have gone on to work as a freelance Dance Teacher for various primary and high schools in Cheshire and Stoke-on-Trent. Billie-Jean was a member of Blueprint team who came 2nd in The Street Dance Championships. Performed in DNA (2008) StreetDreams (2009), A Dose of Dance (2010) Keele uni with Proffessor Green and Ms Dynamite (2011) Dance of the Decades with Chris and Wes and Turbo (2011).
